（吉隆坡26日訊）高等教育部重申，只有在2010年考獲一等或榮譽文憑的大學畢業生，才有資格申請把國家高等教育基金（PTPTN）貸學金轉為獎學金，不必攤還。
首相拿督斯里納吉，是在提呈2010年財政預算案時，作出上述宣佈。
高教部官員今日證實，上述宣佈只限應屆畢業生受惠，2010年之前或之后的畢業生，皆不在此列。
“高教部長曾將此事帶入內閣討論，內閣已做出這項明確決定。”
換言之，2005年7月1日以后領取PTPTN貸學金，且在2010年以前畢業的一等成績貸款人，都沒資格提出申請將貸學金轉為獎學金。
屬特別優惠
“因為各所大學計分法不一致，所以只有通過委員會審合的申請個案，才能如願把貸學金轉為獎學金，不是人人都能得到。”
他說，高教部早前已規定，2005年7月1日以后獲得PTPTN貸款者，皆不能申請把它轉為獎學金，只是首相在宣佈2010年財政預算案時，特別給予那一年的一等成績大學畢業生優惠。
他今日針對一名署名“W.K Ngui”讀者，週五透過電子郵件向《中國報》投訴，指政府允許一等成績大學畢業生，申請將貸學金轉為獎學金，對一群“卡在中間”的人不公平事項，這么發言。
電郵指出，這群“卡在中間”者，就是2005年7月1日以后領取貸學金，卻又在2010年以前畢業的一等或榮譽文憑持有人。

is there something the university can do? because we are not informed.. the RMK 11 din say cancel of this PTPTN first class to scholarship, so we assume is continue on.. can the university do a signature campaign in asking our prime minister to consider this badge as well? we can do something about it together.. we can call other university such as UM, UPM etc.. i believe many more will respond to this.. can??

回复删除Please look through the link. PTPTN officer said through the surat pekeliling, all the first class graduates after 2010 are entitled to change to scholarship. This is unlike what is reported in the China Press.
