国大升学辅导组的宗旨乃是为了提供正确及完善的升学辅导资讯及辅导，与普及升学辅导活动。此外，国大升学辅导组提供多种管道以传达正确及完善的升学资讯与辅导，及栽培一批能掌握升学资讯、教育时事及升学辅导理念与技巧的组员以推动本组活动。
国大升学辅导组是国大华裔理事会的五小组之一，同时也是全国大专升学辅导组（全升）的成员。此外，为了加强组员的归属感，本组套用小瓜、中瓜和老瓜等亲切称呼，并取名为“升之家”。
本组所推行的活动如：推介礼，热线服务，升学讲座，校园路线，月光会，常年宴，联谊活动，雪隆区全升交流日，升之家家庭日等。
推介礼的目的是为了迎接新生与招揽新组员，并且介绍升学辅导组给新生，以让新生们更认识升学辅导组。
此外，本组也准备了热线服务以提供一个供中学生咨询的管道以及得到资讯的平台。所办过的热线服务包括入学准备和申请入学大专。
目前国大总校有在配合一位森美兰的老师，为中六生办升学讲座，让中六生更加了解升学咨询及解除他们对升学的种种疑问。
通过校园路线，本组以不同形式的活动近距离接触中学生，了解他们的需求而提供他们所需的资讯和解答他们的升学疑问。目前国大的校园路线地点为仁嘉隆，龙溪和士毛月。
配合每年的中秋来临，本组举办了月光会，并邀请已经毕业的烂瓜们和其他在校瓜瓜出席，以促进瓜瓜们的感情。在农历新年时本组则会办常年晚宴或午宴来齐聚瓜瓜们，向大家拜个年。本组也举办了各种联谊活动，如：冬至，火锅，聚餐等，以透各种联谊活动来拉近彼此的关系。
雪隆区全升交流日是由马大、博大和国大的升学辅导组一起举办的活动。交流日汇集了国大、马大和博大的升学辅导组组员，提供一个交流平台，并让各组员了解其他两间大专的升学辅导组。
升之家家庭日的主要目的是为了寻找会已经毕业很久的烂瓜们，并且保持联系和举办联谊活动。
“升之家俱乐部”，希望透过升之家俱乐部能够继续保持和瓜瓜们的联络，并且通知烂瓜们，国大升之家的最新动态。
本组一直以来办活动时都秉持着一个信念：自助助人，助人自助。此外，本组所办的活动，是为了让更多的中学生甚至社会人士得到升学资讯，并且能够提高社会大众的升学意识。
The aim of Study Guidance is to provide accurate and complete
information of education guidance and counseling as well as to popularize the
activities of study guidance. The group hopes to train members, who can master
study information, current education issues as well as concepts and skills of
study guidance in order to promote the activities of the group.
Study Guidance is one of the five small groups of the Chinese Community
Student Committee and also the member of Quansheng.org. As to strengthen
members’ sense of belonging, the group applies a system of seniors and juniors.
Annual activities of Study Guidance are Launching Ceremony, Hotline Service, Study Guidance Talks, Campus
Route, Lantern Festival Gathering, Annual Dinner, Gatherings, KL Area Quansheng
Gathering, Family Day and so on.
Launching Ceremony targets
to welcome the new juniors and also to recruit new members by introducing the
Study Guidance Group to new students so that they can know more about the
group.
Besides, the group also provides hotline
service as a platform to offer secondary schools students for advices and
information.
For now, the Study Guidance in UKM main
campus is organizing education talks for Form 6 students with a teacher
from Seremban, aiming to enable them know more about study information and to
answer their queries on further study.
Via Campus Route, the group has a
close contact with secondary school students in different form of activity,
provides them with information in accordance to their needs and answers their
questions.The current Campus Route is in Jenjarom, Dengkil and Semenyih.
Compatible with Lantern Festival,
the group holds gathering which invites graduated seniors and other members
still in campus to foster bonds among members.During CNY, the group organizes Annual Dinner or Lunch to gather all
members. Additionally, the group has also conducted various activities, like
the Winter Solstice gathering, steamboat
gathering, meal gathering and so on to bridge the gap among each other.
KL Area Quansheng Gathering
is organized by Study Guidance from UM, UPM and UKM which gathers members of
Study Guidance in these three Universities and provides a platform for the
members to know more about Study Guidance from other two Universities.
The main objective of Family Day
is to look for and stay connected with seniors who are long graduated apart from
holding gatherings. Study Guidance hopes to stay in touch with all members and
to inform them of the latest updates of the club.
Study Guidance upholds a principle
to help everyone while organizing
activities. The group wishes that more secondary school students and even the
public obtain study information and raise the public’s awareness to further
studies throughout activities conducted.
