来参与饥饿三十吧!饥饿三十是一项全球性活动，旨在抵抗饥饿及杜绝贫穷。国大福利与社会服务小组今年仍然会与世界宣明会联办DIY饥饿营。
今年的主题是“孩要健康，救是现在”! 每一天，全球有24,000名孩子活不过他们的5岁生日，他们皆死于可预防的疾病。透过饥饿30活动，营员们能学习阻止以上悲剧发生，预防足以造成死亡的疾病。
对于这无声的紧急状况,你是否感到很惊讶? 别再无动于衷了! 参加饥饿三十，帮忙筹款之余，你可以了解更多有关儿童健康的危机和需要并给予实际的帮助。只要大家齐心努力, 必能终止这可预防的儿童死亡悲剧。
饥饿营将于2011年8月6号及7号举办，前26个小时会在国大校园里举办，最后的4小时，所有营友将聚集在Stadium Putra,Bukit Jalil,在众艺人的陪同下进行集体倒数活动。

As you may already know, the 30-Hour Famine, a global movement against hunger and poverty, is back! This year, Welfare and Community Service Unit will still be organizing 3o-Hour Famine DIY Camp at UKM.
Every day, over 24,000 children all around the world die before their 5th birthday from diseases that are preventable - malaria, HIV and AIDS, diarrhoea, measles, and complications during pregnancy and after birth. Through the 30-Hour Famine, campers will learn about how we can all be part of the efforts to end preventable, health-related child deaths plaguing vulnerable communities worldwide.
Now that you are aware of the ‘silent emergency’, don’t stay silent! Let’s join 30-Hour Famine, you could learn more about Child Health and do something practical to help besides fund raising. Together we can end preventable child deaths!
On 6th-7th August, campers will be fasting in UKM for 26 hours. For the last 4 hours, all campers will gather at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur for an exciting Famine Countdown event where you will end the campaign by breaking fast together.
