集中第三学期的学生课题之后续？[Third Semester College Issue]

 日前提到的集中所有有拿第三学期的学生在同一个宿舍课题，经过理事会代表向Unit Perumahan Pelajar(UPP)的有关人员询问后，已经确实此提案被中止了。学生都可以在他们所申请的宿舍居住。至于有关宿舍餐馆有否营业的课题，都因餐馆负责人而异。UPP有关人员指出，通常宿舍比较大的、有较多学生居住的宿舍，餐馆都会照常营业，比如：KRK 和KKM。但是最终决定还是在于有关餐馆的营业人手上。

About the issue on arranging all students who are taking short semester to stay in one college. The CCC representative has met the UPP officer for further details and has been informed that this proposal has been aborted. Students can stay at their respective hostel that they have applied. Operation of cafe varies on the person-in-charge of the café. The UPP officer said that the large colleges, such as KRK and KKM with a lot students staying in, the cafe is usually in operation during short semester. However final decision is up to the person-in-charge.

校内宿舍课题

1.      所有学生都会自动性的被提供宿舍居住的机会。实际上，学生是否被提供宿舍居住的最后决定，是根据各个宿舍村的管理层而定的。因此，所有国大学生，包括硕士研究生都会被提供宿舍居住的机会。

2.      任何想要转换宿舍村的学生：

有关学生最好在得到双方宿舍村的校长同意下，才填表格并把表格交上去所想要转换去的宿舍村。如果有关学生在没有得到新宿舍村的同意之下，而拒绝了旧宿舍村的住宿机会，有关学生有可能得不到任何的住宿机会，此做法是非常冒险的。若你想在转换宿舍村的同时，却又不不确定要转到哪一些宿舍村，你可以填表格并交到UPP去，UPP负责人会根据各个宿舍村的空位分配。

3.      任何在2012/2013年第一个学期去INTERN的学生：

若你是住在UKM以外，有关学生必须要拒绝有关宿舍村的住宿机会，也同时免缴宿舍费了。

4.      集中所有拿2011/2012学年的第三学期的学生的住宿课题

由于有很多宿舍村的餐馆在斋月时期没有营运，所以校方有一项提议，那就是把所有拿第三学期的学生都集中在同一个宿舍村里。此课题会在接下来的会议中与Naib Canselor商讨，但愿最终的决定能在下周内出炉。

5.      学生物品的储藏室

若学生想放置物品到宿舍的储藏室，必须向宿舍村的管理层理解并获知详情。因为，每一个宿舍村的管理层的决定都是不一样的。

Accommodation Issue

1.      All seniors are offered automatically. Actually it depends on the college administrator, because they are the one who decide to accept you or not. Therefore, it is same for both undergraduates and masters  -- will be offered automatically.

2. For those who wish to transfer college :
It is recommended to get consent(approval) from the Principal of both hostels (current and new), only then fill in the form and hand in to the new hostel that you want to transfer. If a student reject the offer from current hostel and does not get offer from the new hostel, he/she might has no hostel to stay at, so it is quite risky. For those who wish to transfer to new hostel but not sure with which hostel to transfer, he/she can fill in the form and send it to UPP, UPP will arrange for the student according to hostels’ space availability.

3. For those who go for intern in Semester 1 session 2012/2013, and stay outside of UKM, you have to reject the offer given; besides accommodation fee will not be charged.

4. Issue on centralizing students who take short semester in a hostel
Due to Ramadan month, some of the hostel’s cafe might not open. There is an idea to centralize all students who are taking short semester to stay in one hostel. This issue will be discussed further in the meeting with deputy of Vice Chancellor and the final decision will come out by next week.

5. Store room for students’ properties
About the store will be opened or not - students have to discuss with their respective college's administrator.

考试温馨提醒 [Reminder for all UKM students]

  期末考在即，国大华裔学生理事会在此祝福各位同学考试顺利并附上数项温馨提醒。

The final exam is just around the corner, the Chinese Community Council (CCC) wishes all students best of luck! Here are a few reminders for all UKM students during exam.
1. Make sure IC, Matrics Card and KMJP are with you before leaving for exam.
2. Proper attire (collar shirt and slacks) is necessary. Jeans and slippers are not allowed in the exam hall.
3. If you are taking public transport, like bus to the exam hall, do so 30 minutes earlier so that you won't miss the bus.
4. If you miss the bus, you may contact the following CCC student representatives. They would be glad to help should the condition allows.

5. The bus will pass by all exam venues, please rest assure.
6. If you are unsure about your exam venue, especially the 1st year students, you may leave a comment here and we would answer your query.
7. Mobile phone is strictly forbidden in the exam hall. Whoever breaks the rule is considered cheating in exam and will be deprived of exam qualification.
8. Avoid bringing valuables during exam to prevent theft cases.
** Lastly, drink more water and take good care of yourself, particularly in the exam period. =)

摩托车不见了？[Kes kecurian motorsikal di KIY]

于上个星期，理事会接到一位国大生的投报说他的摩托车被偷了。此学生的摩托车是停放在Kolej Ibrahim Yaakob (KIY) 的摩托停车位，怀疑是在午夜时分被偷走。这位学生后来在理事会代表和PMUKM 代表的陪同下到Wisma Aman 及Kajang 的警察局报案。在此，理事会呼吁大家如果在大学有自己的交通工具，没有使用时确保它们被安全锁上。若是发现周围有行为不轨的人士，请立刻向附近的人寻求帮忙并通知校方。

Pada minggu yang lepas, pihak CCC telah menerima laporan daripada seorang pelajar UKM bahawa motorsikalnya telah dicuri. Motorsikalnya  diletakkan di tempat letak motorsikal Kolej Ibrahim Yaakob (KIY) dan dipercayai kecurian tersebut berlaku pada waktu tengah malam. Wakil CCC dan PMUKM telah bersama pelajar tersebut pergi ke Wisma Aman dan IPK Kajang untuk membuat laporan. Berhubungan dengan kes ini ,

CCC menyeru kepada semua pelajar yang mempunyai kenderaan sendiri di kampus, harus sentiasa memastikan kenderaan dikunci dengan baik apabila tidak digunakan. Jika anda mendapati sesiapa yang mencurigakan, segera meminta bantuan daripada orang di sekeliling dan melaporkan perkara tersebut kepada pihak universiti. 

KBH可疑男子出没？[Isu Keselamatan di Kolej Burhanuddin Helmi (KBH)]

各位女大学生请注意，上个星期有一位女生在某个黄昏时分发现有一位可疑男子出现在Kolej Burhanuddin Helmi, K10 的女生宿舍。当可疑男子看见这位女生时，就立即转移方向，行动非常可疑。据该女生透露，那男生似乎正想要从该女生宿舍的窗口偷窥一些事物。

此男生的特征是肥胖、个子不高、黝黑皮肤、身穿有蓝色海军花式的有领衣服和长裤。理事会在此呼吁各国大女生请务必要注意自己的安全，为了以防万一，夜深在外时最好有多一个朋友伴随。若发现任何可疑人物，即时联络有关单位以做好防范准备。

Perhatian kepada semua mahasiswi, seorang penghuni siswi telah mendapati seorang lelaki yang tidak dikenali berada di sekitar blok K10K, Kolej Burhanuddin Helmi yang  merupakan blok siswi semasa waktu petang pada minggu yang lepas. Lelaki tersebut terus mengalih arahnya apabila ternampak penghuni siswi tersebut. Menurut penghuni siswi tersebut , lelaki tersebut sedang cuba mengintip sesuatu dari tingkap pada masa tersebut.

Ciri-ciri lelaki tersebut ialah gemuk, tidak terlalu tinggi, kulit berwarna hitam,  memakai sehelai baju berkolar biru yang bercorak tentera laut yang dan tracksuit.. Semua mahasiswi diingati untuk menjaga keselamatan diri dan elakkan daripada berjalan berseorangan semasa waktu tengah malam serta menghubungi pihak berkenaan jika ternampak sesiapa yang disyaki di sekitar kawasan kampus.
